Genre busting 3rd Stone blends rock, afro-beat, and reggae and funk rhythms into a highly addictive sonic stew that is sure to make your body move! On the heels of a huge performance at Bear Creek Festival with special guest and funk legend Bernie Worrell, Gainesville's 3rd Stone celebrates the release of their much anticipated debut, self titled CD.

3rd Stone came together in the summer of 2006 after then 10 year old guitarist Anthony Kavouklis' impromptu standing ovation performance with blues legend Buddy Guy. Anthony (guitar/keyboards) and founding band members Wester Joseph (guitar/vocals) and Eli Collins (bass) were joined in 2008 by Quintina Crawford and Jose Rosada (vocals/percussion) and Sean Patrick McGuire (drums). Since then, the band has shared the stage with multiple national acts while capturing the hearts of an enthusiastic and rapidly growing fan base. 3rd Stone offers something for everyone with amazing guitar riffs from Wester Joseph and Anthony Kavouklis, soaring vocals, and original tunes bearing a truly positive message.
