Park Ave CDs Record Store Day 2010

Oh Yeah! Park Ave CDs is one of the premiere Indies in the whole country. You gotta feel lucky it's right in our own back yard! Sandy and crew always make RSD a party, and this year shouldn't be any different. Well, probably minus the alligator... A really killer thing going down on Saturday is the release of two new additions of the "Live At Park Ave" series. These releases include:
Manchester Orchestra "Live at Park Ave" Recorded in June of last year, this 7-song live acoustic EP features 36 minutes of some of the finest moments of "Mean Everything To Nothing" as well as an older track ("Sleeper 1972" from "I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child"). And...
RX Bandits "Live at Park Avenue" Recorded July 20th of last year, Sargent House Records presents this set highlighting stripped-down acoustic versions of the bands most celebrated songs... Make sure to get there early!

Here Are Some Things Park Ave Wants You to Know!

For those of you who've been on this ride before, you know the drill: get here as early as you can, keep in mind the special pieces you're looking for and HAVE FUN! For you first-timers, don't get overwhelmed...there's going to be a lot going on! Here are a few tips to help you navigate the day:

• In keeping with our RSD tradition, bring 4 non-perishable food items to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida and receive 15% OFF YOUR ENTIRE PURCHASE on that Saturday! Last year we collected over ??? lbs. of food for our community, let's see how much we can give this year!
• For every $10 you spend, pick 1 promotional item from the "giveaway buffet" of swag made especially for RSD!
• Spend $45 or more and receive a FREE PACD T-SHIRT designed exclusively for RSD '10 AND a coupon for one FREE MENU ITEM at the East Colonial Drive CHIPOTLE that Saturday! (it's right down the road and trust us, you'll probably have worked up an appetite)
• Refreshments provided by REDLIGHT REDLIGHT and BLUE BIRD BAKE SHOP throughout the day!
• In accordance with RSD policies and due to the limited nature of these releases, we are unable to hold any titles created for this event...get here early! And in the effort of fairness, customers will only be allowed to purchase 1 copy of each title; everyone deserves a chance at collecting these special pieces.
• Please, no trades (CD or LP) or payouts this Saturday, we'll have our hands full so please plan accordingly.
• Parking will be limited, please be respectful of our neighbors. There is parking available curbside on both sides of Corrine Drive, as well as the Audubon Park Elementary School (? I'll check on the exact title) lot located behind the shopping plaza on E. Winter Park Drive and Falcon Drive.
