Noted for her both spiritual and sexually explicit lyrics, Shunda K's first official solo release, the “Here I Am To Save The World” maxi-single, follows several underground solo EPs and two internet-only mixtapes that have been downloaded thousands of times each to date.

On “Here I Am To Save The World,” Shunda K collaborates with Cindy Wonderful, vocalist of the Berlin-based electropop group, Scream Club. Downtempo, dance floor and rock remixes are provided by up and coming producers Scripts ‘N Screwz (St. Louis), Nite Club (Brooklyn) and The New Loud (Milwaukee). These reinterpretations of “Here I Am To Save The World” are as potent as the original and keep Shunda K crossing genre lines, as always.


While touring the globe with Yo! Majesty in 2008 and 2009, Shunda K maintained a non-stop pace of collaborations in the studio and on-stage, logging time with producers and lyricists from around the world. The results of these sessions are now being made public and the “Here I Am To Save The World” maxi-single is just a taste of what is to come on Shunda K’s debut solo album, The Most Wanted, due for release in early 2011.
