SATURDAY, MAY 8th, 2010

6PM till 11PM

On Saturday May8th , the 600 block would like everyone to come and experience the new renaissance in Art Music & Fashion at "The 600 block Party” (between 6th and 7th Ave.) in Downtown St. Pete will be blocked off to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Crislip Arcade, Thirty new businesses including galleries, boutiques, film studios, art & design studios and music outlets. Grab a libation and visit each one.

There will be dancing-in-the-street music with Lounge Cat, Fall on Purpose and DJ Mega. Fashion Show featuring styles of the cool shops on the Block! The Saturday Art Walk, including Florida Craftsman and The Arts Center.

This event is free, Purchase food and drink from booths of local favorite restaurants.

After the party ends in the street continue to check out the Grand Opening of The Local 662 formally The Garage, and Fubar with great live bands!

VITALE ART STUDIO "There Goes The Neighborhood" Art Show with Art by Tom Thewes, Frank Strunk III, Jeff Srsic, Andrew Spear, Allen Hampton, Brandon Dunlap and BASK plus tunes by music snob & all around good dude, DJ Nak1.

STARBOOTY will be serving up deeelish rock n' roll booty (snow) cones! Get a sneak peak of the hair styles going into the fashion show while your browsing all the cute accessories: hair clips, eye shadow, scarves, & so MUCH more.

BLUELUCY "COMPUTE THIS" An exhibit of paintings, prints and products by Phillip Clark and Chad Mize of Bluelucy. Come explore the Bluelucy Gallery and Studio as they showcase new works, styles and designs.

667 CENTRAL is having their "Official Grand Opening" with belly dancing, some nice cold beverages, and a great environment to experience on the 600 Block. There will be mystery sales from 6pm-9pm on dresses, body jewelry & home furnishings.

DADDY KOOL RECORDS is giving their customers a chance to paint & decorate old records in front of on the sidewalk. They are having a "BLOCK PARTY SALE" 10% Off all new merchandise & 20% Off all used merchandise! from 6pm-11pm.

1 OF 1 CUSTOMS custom hand-painted everything. Having their "GRAND OPENING" Come see what Rasta and the crew have been up to.

FINEST SKATESHOP is holding their "5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY" party & sale. ALL Pro skateboards are only $50 with grip tape included for FREE. Sale last until Dec 31st, 2010

RHINO STUDIOS will be walk thur tours of their awesome Film/Photo Studio and showing film reels of their recent productions. They will also be serving Limonade, cookies, & popcorn. Stayed tuned for more surprises!
