Ok, here is the big news… We here at REAX were lucky enough to be granted the first track leaks from the new The Measure SA studio album, Notes. Can I get a , "Hell Yes!"?

The Measure SA are a punk band from New Brunswick, New Jersey started by Mike, Fid and Lauren in the summer of 2004. Andrew (aka Big A) later joined on bass. They recorded their debut LP in the spring of 2005 in order to quickly document what they thought would be a short lived venture. This was clearly not the case and they have continued to put out numerous 7″ singles and splits through multiple labels such as Chunksaah, Salinas, Kiss of Death Records, Team Science, No Idea and Snuffy Smile.

The Measure SA have let us leak the first song from their new studio album Notes, the 14 track album will be released via No Idea Records October 5th on LP/CD.

Notes was recorded in the 2nd half of 2009 by Chris Pierce at Technical Ecstasay and Brian “Buckets” Buccelato at Chumbuckets. It was later mastered by Stephen Egerton.

The Measure SA are currently working on a tour to surround their appearance at the FEST 9 in Gainesville, Fl this coming Halloween weekend.
