Look Mexico release their second full length here, and their first for Suburban Home. The Austin via Tallahassee band returned home to record To Bed To Battle, and with some pretty terrific results. Some older fans should expect a bit more depth in song structure, employing horns, keys, and strings in certain areas. The disjointed, mathy guitar melodies (ala Minus The Bear) are still in effect here, so fear not. An overall solid release, Look Mexico take a few more chances here, while avoiding the cursed sophomore slump. Look for them at this year's SXSW?, with an in depth east coast tour running through March.
