Yukon Blonde's music is a blend of folk tinged, hook-laden, and catchy-as-hell pop rock with soaring harmonies that is further emboldened by the bands live show. The amps are loud, the music is allowed to breathe, and those who are able to witness to its raw power walk away converts.

Yukon Blonde are currently on the road supporting their recently released self-titled debut, out now in North America via Bumstead Records. The next leg of its forthcoming U.S. run will begin on April 27 in Washington, DC at DC9 and ends May 1 in Philadelphia, PA at Swarthmore College, opening for Man Man. The band's tour schedule resumes with a main support slot on the Good Old War tour, which begins May 24 in Pittsburgh, PA at Smiling Moose and wraps up June 25 in Hoboken, NJ at Maxwells. The band has already spent a month on the road in 2010, including well - received appearances at both Canadian Music Week and SXSW festivals.

Immediately following its SXSW appearances, Yukon Blonde track "Rather Be With You" spent a few weeks the top 10 on Elbo.ws Hot Tracks chart (week of Mar. 29), and the video for "Wind Blows" has over 6K views on You Tube.
