After spending nearly two months on the Vans Warped Tour, Juliet Simms and her band Automatic Loveletter are anxious to hit the road again. Toting the band’s recently released debut, Truth Or Dare, Simms and company have announced a two-week trek supporting Valencia, which kicks off on October 1st in South Hackensack, NJ and wraps in Mesa, AZ on October 12th.

“Three days left of Warped! So sad it’s almost over, but excited for a real bed,” admits Simms. Truly a road warrior in every sense of the term, she continues, “I acquired some bruises, cuts and scrapes, but mainly my punk rock badge. After doing Warped, nothing scares me. I can't wait to get back out on tour with guns blazzin'. Valencia has been a band I've wanted to tour with for a long time so I'm really excited.”

Produced by Josh Abraham (Pink, Weezer, Courtney Love), Truth Or Dare is the long-awaited debut from Automatic Loveletter. Armed with openly honest songs, Truth Or Dare’s lyrics profess confessions of her life struggles (“Story of My Life”), relationship experiences (“Hush”), and Simms’ feisty and spontaneous side (“Let It Ride”). Kicking off Truth or Dare is the first single and anthemmic romper “Heart Song,” which Alternative Press magazine says is "a fist-pumping rock song that combines the riffs from Muse's 'Resistance' and the classic song 'Spirit In The Sky,' it showcases a Joan Jett-meets-Alanis Morissette howl from Automatic Loveletter singer Juliet Simms." Spawning a steamy video for the song equally as hot as this summer, director and horror auteur Chad Feehan (Wake) shot the video on 8mm, giving it the warmth and eerie finish of a classic B-movie.

After moving to Los Angeles from Tampa at 16, and signing to Sony by the age of 19, Automatic Loveletter has built a loyal following by releasing the Hot Topic exclusive Recover EP in 2008, and the 2009 self-titled iTunes EP. Touring relentlessly, Automatic Loveletter has shared the stage with Secondhand Serenade, Cute Is What We Aim For, Say Anything, From First To Last, and Craig Owens (of Chiodos), and prominent performances on the 2008 Vans Warped Tour and both the Bamboozle and Bamboozle Left festivals. In anticipation of Truth Or Dare, Juliet contributed vocals on albums by All Time Low, LoveHateHero, Cartel and Secondhand Serenade.
