Tampa Is Not Jacksonville
That may be addition by subtraction, but if you've ever really had to spend much time in the Bold New City of the South, you'd be feeling me. I left the 904 in 1992 and have never looked back. Tampa, like Jacksonville, is still Florida, and it's still overall conservative, but something about this area manages to maintain a healthy progressive, creative, adventurous population. Even if they're not always reliable when it counts, they're here.
