Tampa Still Has A Malleable Identity
I've always been attracted to the fact that Tampa is still developing an identity in many ways, particularly culturally. I sometimes wish the area would stop trying to be a place its not, and not be as knee-jerk as it often is in regards to initiatives, but I also take it as a challenge to try to help shape it. I've always said I'd rather struggle to do what I believe in, creating something on my own, than live more comfortably making someone else's dream a reality. If someone wants to make something bad enough here, and is patient, they can do it.
