Confession time: I tried hating on this place when it first opened. Some fancy St. Pete carpetbaggers trying to come over and horn in my stand-by bar (see #3). Plus it seemed like everything was overpriced the first few times I went in there. The Florida Ave high-traffic location wasn't helping me feel it, either. Admittedly, I'd still like some more foliage out front to block the road, but this place has become special to me - a neighborhood bar with great ownership, staff and selection.
