Phish Reunites To Accept Award, Trey Jams With Fab Faux

All four members of Phish (Trey Anastasio, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman, and Page McConnell) appeared together at the Wamu Theater at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday May 7th to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award at The 7th Annual Jammy Awards. Many fans hoped that the band would play some music together at the event, or possibly even make an announcement of a reunion tour. Those things did not happen, but it was nice to see the band standing on a stage together again.

Below are some pics from the Fab Faux set, which featured a guest appearance by Trey Anastasio. More pics from the event will be posted later on Thursday.

If there was ever a time when the moment really started to kick in it would have been last night. Had I not known the approval rating befor everybody started to chime in with their own personal wizardry of formal dead head attire. Space ships you ask? Ha,I have seen space ships and last night was no space ship. Last night was the mother of musical erections. It was that place that makes it all possible. Where is that place you ask. Well,you're looking righ at it if you are looking at anything at all.

Trey really set the moment. You could hear him going in and out of FOAM and HELP>SLIP>Frank teases. He looked right at me and he knew that I knew. He gave me a "thumbs up" and a little wink. That ol' twinkling in his eyes is back and he affirmed to me,in his own little way,that there is more to come and that the train is warming up and waiting for it's formal passengers to ride to neverland.

God Bless Trey and Mike Gordon!!!! Big SHout out to Page and the "wolf mans brother" wink wink
