Jim James and M. Ward give a sneak peak into My Morning Jacket's Evil Urges

Posted Saturday, June 21st 2008 by rxundrgrnd

We here at the Truly Independent cannot stop listening to MMJ's Evil Urges.  So browsing through our library vault, I noticed a rare SXSW 2008 performance of Jim James and M. Ward going through the catalog, including tracks like "Sec Walkin'," "Librarian," and "Smoking from Shooting."  It's a rare look into how Jim James can change gears, not just vocal but musically.  Enjoy.

You can catch the bootleg here.
