Currently touring with label mates Otep, my first impression is that it must be pretty weak to consistently be shown up by a girl night after night. My second is, repeating the title blatantly in every song can be an irritating habit.  While Otep’s vocals offer a tortured howl suggestive of more testosterone than other ladies might like to cop to, it is unclear whether Joey Duena's vocals are poorly doubled, or if he is in fact suffering jointly from a severe hernia and a mouthful of gravel. That said, it is only fair to note that the clean vocals are respectable, and the band’s collective backing vocals are definitely one of the higher points of the disc. Otherwise, the fare is par for the top-40-radio-rock course, and I’m sure will go over well with fans of Papa Roach, Drowning Pool, and the like. Is it sad to wish that a band would put down their eyeliner for a moment and pick up an issue of Time magazine?
