I was happy to hear these guys were from the UK, and not just singing in some pretentious British accents for shits and giggles. Antidotes slides up and down between indie rock and dance, confusing comparisons between Q and Not U, with dance and electronic beats like Bloc Party and the guitar stylings of Battles. The production deserves mentioning, which can be attributed to TV on the Radio guitarist and producer David Sitek. With the exception of a few horns and some interesting beats (although incessant sometimes), it's not entirely innovative but gets better with each listen. This is the kind of album I would love after a few Jamesons, just enough to dance my ass off. - MacKenzie Pause
