The Smashing Pumpkins (Billy Corgan) are back with one of their most ambitious endeavors yet, Teargarden by Kaleidyscope. This is a 44 track album released one song at a time over the next three years. The songs are completely free to anyone without so much as leaving your email - just download. Each time 4 songs is released, an EP will be made available with artwork, lyrics etc. When all 11, 4-song EP's are released, the collection of 44 songs plus some new material and yet-to-be-determined content will be released as a box set.

They began the Teargarden journey last month with "A Song For A Son," a soaring, six minute ode to classic rock, complete with lamenting piano intro and powerful guitar solos. This week, "Widow Wake My Mind" debuted. "WWMM" is a catchy little rock number reminiscent of ZWAN in its looser, more upbeat feel. New drummer, Mike Byrne" gets to flex a little more percussive muscle in his quest to fill the biggest shoes ever.
