Real Estate follow up their critically acclaimed self titled debut (out earlier in 2009), with the 6 song Reality EP. The New Jersey 3 piece could easily be pigeonholed into the current wave of no-fi hipster favs, (Crystal Antlers, Little Girls, WAVVES, etc.), if it weren't for the gentle pop sensibility and genuine craftsmanship that goes into each song. Somehow a bit more dreamy and melancholy than it's predecessor, Reality evokes more comparison to fellow Jerseyans Yo La Tengo, than any of their contemporaries. Highly recommended.
