Screeching Weasel
Screeching Weasel strips punk rock down to the bare essentials with hard and fast power chords, often three or less, much like their punk rock idols, The Ramones. Hailing from Chicaco, Illinois, the American punk band was formed in the mid-80s by Ben Weasel and John Jughead. Their prominence came soon after signing to East Bay punk label, Lookout! Records. Lineup changes have been frequent and Weasel is the group's only constant member.
